Barbara has been a storyteller and school librarian for many years. Books, authors and stories are a big part of her life. She believes that she has lived a thousand lives through the characters in books that she reads. Barbara has been a featured author at El Paso's Great Southwest Book Fair held annually in October. Barbara has a passion for literacy and increasing literacy rates around the world. She has taught English to college students in Bangkok, Thailand on two summer trips.
