I've always been a reader. I grew up reading Kipling and the westerns of Louie L'amour. I like the old westerns. Stories you might tell around a campfire. I have no desire to inject so much realism into my stories that they read more like a documentary than a good tale. If I can't tell a good story in a hundred pages or so then I don't want to tell it.
