I write because I grew up watching my mother with a book in her hand anytime she had a free moment from taking care of me and my family. Even as a small child, I remember feeling there was something in those books she was looking at all the time. After I learned to read, I found out the world was in there and I wanted to be a part of it. I wrote stories at an early age, but didn't get serious about my writing until after I became an adult.
