I'm a pastor in a small church and my writing centers primarily around Christian issues - some fiction - some non-fiction.
I love to read. I find an author I like and read what they have written. I have read most everything written by C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, I. Azimov, Larry Niven, J.R.R. Tolkien, John Steinbeck and numerous others.
Although my skill does not rival theirs, I imagine they have each influenced my writing.
