Elizabeth Blair Weeks-Rowe was born in 1970 in San Diego, CA. She knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a writer, and wrote her first poem at age 5. As she came from a family of nurses and physicians, she naturally migrated to the field of health care, and became a nurse in 1998.
