Chrystal earned her BBA at Air University while serving as a Personnel Technician in the U S Air Force/ANG; she earned the rank of NCO and received an honorable discharge after six years of service. Chrystal was commissioned as a Stephen Minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.
