Oh Knight of the splendid armor Oh you of handsome face and manner I challenge thee to a duel with me I'll gladly change my rank and banner Oh knight of the splendid armor You whom inspired my yearning sighs I'm trapped within your web of power Can you not hear my wanton cries? Beauteous knight come rescue me Can you not sense an urgency? Ours will be an exceptional love filled with exciting mystery Oh courageous warrior of my dreams Possessor of those magnificent eyes You whose lips I long to devour This love I offer is an awesome prize Come heither my knight, wait no longer If you propose, it's clear I'll succumb Alas dearest knight, ours will be a life Of passion and paradise, lost and re-won! I do not usually go for the romantic side of poetry unless it has more going for it than pouty lips and sloppy kisses, but this poem has more, much, much more. Bravo!
