Excellent poetry. Unfortunately we have no shield to protect ourselves from death though we can somehow deal with the causes of death. I don't really know which way is good: To know or not to know the time you are about to die. Wonderful poem.

Love the depth of wisdom and strength of spirit in LEST I FORGET. Reminds one that life, under whatever conditions, is meant to be lived until it no longer is, period. But while it is, one would do well to continue to seek and treasure whatever good it has to offer. A great and enjoyable read.
