one road, one hate, men and women break minds, minds bend and break with sticks and stones, sticks and stones infuse more hate and hate lives longer than the man or woman standing Sticks and stones gain nonsense and hate with guns and knives prospers with more sticks, more stones. tense in the world it sleeps purposely while closing its eyes to those who gainfully deploy more guns more knives a lack of or not caring at all means one is satisfied with the outcome of life even if it remains unchanged nothing changed means you too willfully and knowingly engage in the services of hate, more hate crafted in one�s heart sticks and stones break hearts hearts break minds no sticks no stones no guns no knives hate hates people man, woman or child hate hates you me and the rest of the world and it�s still the same as the verse above hate is the punishment to punish man and hates still hates every woman man or child 2003, All Rights Reserved

Wow! I love the title in context with your piece, Rosalyn! And you are right, to a point. I had a thought right before sleep one night and used it in my piece "Refractory Reflections". Sternly told myself not to forget them since it made such perfect sense.

Love abides hate.
Hate abhors love.

It is a balancing act with one side sometimes gaining the upper hand, and sometimes not. In the end, we have to have faith that Love will win, the alternative is unthinkable. Your piece reminded me of this thought. Strong write with great flow! :)

This is very thought provoking. I enojyed thinking about this write here. Must be read over again to promote more thought. I removed the word "hate" from my vocabulary because it is such a strong word. Choosing the word "dislike" seems more appropriate and is less harsh on the soul.
