I had a vision in the moonlight
a woman that I used to know

I nearly died of fright
I woke my heart was heavy beating
like to fall up to the ceiling
I jumped up outta bed
made sure I wasn't dead
I landed on my feet

my gut was underneath the knife
I was running from the law
blood was real and it was raw
my skin was bone and it was white
was more that good enough for me
saw things I knew I shouldn't see

I can not understand
