Poem Artwork

Should I awaken from my slumber
To find my dream is torn asunder
Then I have dreamed the greatest passion
That sets my mind a flow in fashions
That come to me from afar
Blinded me with your star
This nova of my hearts desire
Has taken up this lust for fire
You reached within my soul so deep
Unleashed desires I thought to keep
Within... for safety was the bain
For which I kept my love in chains
From gentle tugs of rhythm deep
That sought the reasons that I keep
Inside... for you are just my chance
To keep intact this here Moondance
I need to take..forsake all others
For pals are friends but hearts are lovers
And which are you, my sweet man?
The pal of spirit or heart in hand
Or the form to mold for life... a friend
To ever trust ...until the end?
The answer is for you to ponder
As I gaze to muse but wonder
Is this sky of midnight blue...
Laced with diamonds... sent from you?
I look upon your star tonight...
For friends I have but love... I might
Just hold so dear in valleys deep...
Secure to check the fears that keep
My heart so hollow and needs the chance
To hold so dear your sweet moondance
I'll gaze upon this sky so grand
Your star and me...hand in hand.

Susan,

WOW, this is gorgeously penned and illustrated; and yes, I'd love another whirl around the stars. :) Beautiful.

There's a bright white aura around these words. Like a reflection of the stars they speak of. Space and time will cease to be, but the Light is immortal, true, containing all we are. This here, on the blue planet, is merely an ephemeral stint, a fragment of infinity that may seem like ages to us, off the scale of our perception often, but finite in any case. What we truly are however, is not just what is visible, palpable, detectable in here and now. We are more than that. Our desires, however unimaginable they may seem today, are more than that too. They all serve one purpose, which is the Light.

A little moondance by any other name is seek and seizure or find annd fondle, maybe even bite and lick. Still, yet and still, if the moon will bless these unions of lust I say that is all that is needed to make it right in my eyes. All kidding aside, this poem was damn good, Susan.

You pull all the right switches, and press all the right buttons in flowing synchronicity...
This compelling write has the magnetic pull of the lunar tides...:)

Symetrical romance across the heavens in a slow dance filled with passion and desire. Love it.
