our mystical style of passion
is ten times hotter than we believe
flamboyant, flashy displays
await to be concieved
dazzling every goosebump
with no market for happenstance
provoking our passion issues

"provocative chance" is a very interesting pair as is "market for happenstance," which isn't a pair but is good. Calls for some thinking about... thanks a lot for sharing
This line is quite apt for the consumerist spirit of the age that prevails. Everything, including ourselves from the moment we are born, is meat for the market. Thankfully, neither Keynes, Hayek nor Friedman could fit the hand of providence into an economic unit.
I believe that little of our lives is given over to chance if it were it would be morally and spiritually aimless.
Having said this, what chance exists can be very provocative one way or another.

That has got to be very hot - and I love that picture, Susan.
