Poem Artwork

What do I know of sunsets
When it doesn't concern your arms
It sure does get confusing
For sunsets have their charm
Yet witnessing one without you
Can make for an evening's beauty
While with you it is a new shine
It even gets intuitive
Your visual is of a mango
With colors in orange contrast
Your senses are comfort from lithium rays
Shot out with a beauty attack
Your nerves are then rearranged
Your smile is one... content
All-in-all it's a memorial prelude
For a comfort of soul, I meant
Yet without you a sunset is a gift from nature
To ease your evening on down
To a sleepy time for man and beast
With heartbeats...the whisper...now
But with you a sunset's a symphony
With colors drawn out real slow
With tangerine flavored budding
From two heart's inner glow
It's the shadow waltzing profiles
Into the evening shade
Then into the arms of dreaming
That love has proudly made
The sky is blue at morning
When sunsets ease us down
It's timing in nature's beauty
With love it's more ... profound.

Anything shared with the one you love always has a magical, mystical quality. You've captured that essence, perfectly.

God bless you. Kathy

Great image - like a long and winding road (life) which eventually leads those with wisdom to the Light. Your romanticism, Belle-o-fantastico, is always a warm and soothing elixir to this reader.

No sunset is as beautiful as one shared by two hearts on the same plane of love's existance. This poem captures that idea and presents it to the reader like a gourmet meal of passion to savor always.
Lovely Susan...lovely.

Love the photo. 'But with you a sunset's a symphony'. Now that's a great line; also, 'love has proudly made'. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for sharing and cheers.

Continuing your superb love affair with love, Susan, I see. When you take love by the hand, lean into it and press your body to it, there is no one who writes of love can touch your presentation of amor . . .

Love and sunsets... beauty, nature, symphonies of colors... a world that seems so faraway from me right now.
I wish I could dream...

Sunsets are beautiful and soothing, Much more so hand in hand next to
the one that we love. This is really beautiful.
