I found a site from India that had scores of my old poetry. I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought they were lost.
I know this pic is grainy but until AD fixes the download part...it's all I have.
Dreams...the wasteland of all our misery The harbor of our passions and joys Pleasures and expectations of life It's the Id that speaks to us... Of possibilities and consistencies of past footsteps It's the inner voice that tells us it's okay to think... Further than the norm It's a release and a lesson to be savored It's a punishment for trespasses of guilt And it's pleasures , personified , when love is true ... And held close to the soul. Dreams are of the spirit or from our demons... Of consciousness , in a twilight... It's the inner voice of reason and it's our tattle of guilt Dreams are the cinema of the soul.
I liked this much!!! Dreams are special little treasures tucked away in the minds of many and without them we would never achieve many of the things we want in life. Dreams take us to far off lands and to experiences we've never experienced...dreams, dreams, cherishes to hold tight like you would a precious gift. Excellent write!
I honestly believe that in dreams we transverse the limits of time and space, we can be in a different land with a different lover or just across the room with one we wished were ours. Dreams are subject to change and often do but the sweet dreams of love are well worth the uncertainty of what will come.
These lines resonate with me and gives permission...

When I spot a couple of lines in a poem that hints of our intuition, my intuition tells me to get in touch with the author of whom I read and tell them so...Dreams is cerebral in the ongoing thought process, Susan...thanks for sharing...be well always...Blessed Be.
No doubt our subconscious may feed many of our dreams.

WoW! Can't tell whether you're coming or going here, Susan, except that you can tell if you care to, it is the old pleasure for pain syndrome, well not syndrome, but thought. I have been content as hell and have nightmares, have been in horrible menttal shape and dreamed of rushing waterfalls and golden meadows . . . What the heck, you just go with it . . . Love this one . . .
