My spouse, who is a grade school superintendent, would agree with you and Bill Cosby 100% about not blaming the kids, but she would add that it doesn't matter what ethnic background the kids come from, the same thing happens to all children when the parents don't accept some of the responsibility.

When our government recognizes the value of one parent staying home to bring up the next generation life will become better for all. It doesn't not matter what parent stays home, as long as one does. Great write.

i agree with you (and cosby) 1,000 per cent. we cannot blame the children. they only do what they see others doing, and when the parents don't set the example, then the problems arise.

Sad commentary. I also agree with Cosby. I thought it strange that so many disagreed. Nice write.
