Yep-they made it sound like the weapons that are missing (the USA's fault for not guarding them!) were integral to the building of nuclear weapons during the gw bush administration.

The truth, of course, is that this was a known cache, ignored by our occupation forces, and that it has nothing to do with nukes. Iraq's nuke program was effectively shut down years ago. The UN had plans to make sure it stayed that way.

CONVENTIONAL weapons were found (bombs, etc.), not weapons of mass destruction. there's a big difference. i, for one, don't think the media is lying here. i still think the Bush administration made more than a miscalculation. not sure i like any alternative, but the solution is to VOTE and to become involved in the democratic process. and, for those who do think there are issues with reporting, then go after those outlets and challenge the credibility of their sources, the validity of their stories or the political motivations you might think influencing their reporting.
