if not for you,
I would never realize that
little thoughts are never complaints,
but always cheers to move me on

thoughts from the heart,
content to support me in the background
materialize as evidence
of gently stroking words,

they are the life petals,
soft and stimulating,
the invisible energy flow
from your direction
into my garden of wordplay

and moment by moment
the little thoughts increase,
never minding others' who
my taunt you with their
own brand of poetic justice

and because of you,
I was not content
to stay in the background
of my doubts any longer,

you are the blessing keepers,
the bearers holding the baskets
brimming with little things who
never tire of thought sharing,

you have refilled my empty space
with unlimited petals of life,
. . .and I am truly thankful.
