AVERT.org is an example of a site that gives information - as it contains a great deal of information about HIV and AIDS. It also has a teens section that contains information for young people.

Poem Artwork

minds go all adrift,
logic drips from their noses;
looking for a thrill

checkin' out "The Y",
glands begin to tingle;
make them feel so grown

moaning in the corn,
smoking candy cigarettes
semen tastes like Pez

sponge off sticky guilt,
look cute for Jesus worship,
spit don't make no babies

Powerful poem , Cynth'ya! I saw a film on Swaziland, a town where hundreds of children live alone. All the adults died of aids, there is hardly any food, no elictricity at night they are in total darkness and no one to care for them. It doesn't seem possible but I saw it and it haunts me. How can the world of plenty allow it. and not just the USA please, but the entire world and all humanity of all races colors and creeds will pay for what we have allowed to happen in this beautiful world Creator gave us.

Love,
Eileen
