defining a language
not taught in the halls of scholars
nor are they words that can be
captur'd in the scope of a fleeting thought
for they are the words that are spoken
through ill-will'd actions of those
feeling wrenching pains from twist'd interpretations
of what it means to be fair and equal justice. . .

yes, somebody's listening,
but it is not the ones with the power to heal

yes, somebody's listening,
but not the ones who lost
courage to unleash their
sodder'd swollen tongues
dribbling and drooling fragments
of justice in the form of. . .

Diseases Un-insur'd
Violence Living Well
Wages Un-negotiat'd
Loans In Default
Preachers Un-sav'd
Marriages Adulter'd
Children Un-parent'd
Gas Gone Wild
and Limbaugh set free

seems the only ones doing the listening
are the ones putting words in the mouths
of those who eat the national greens.
and those of us who babble words
in a language known as
"Discontent" are never protected
by the law of a salty land.
