the satellite box
puts the spin on
pizzazz with all manner of
pills, lotions, balms & potions
and the small print often times
catches you and me off guard
with the notion of leading us
astray, down the bad credit way

no doubt those who get sucker'd
by emotions of entitlement take
what little monies they have that
shoulda been spent on the rent, whoops!
wonder where the paycheck went?!. . .
and all hell breaks loose
because the truth is we gather
more clutter than our neighbor's
mama'nem and sister and brother
all put together,
but what does it matter?

for the chatter box rules. . .
we lose our cool, go bankrupt
like fools perish in the debts of social
mire, and so many seek a business
with minds that inquire, jumping from the
frying pan straight back into the fire
hoping to escape a lifetime of
financial quagmire. . .
