blurr'd horizons
fogg'd from view
past mistakes still haunt anew;

mundane actions,
careless thoughts,
fearing change you've always sought;

if you seek out
a fresh new start,
first learn to to calm your anxious heart;

it's not the change
that makes the difference
but how you cope with interference.

Wow--how have I missed you this long? Each one of us may read things a little different, but you just nailed me. At a huge, HUGE, turning point in my life (literally starting tomorrow) I stumbled across this trying to relax. Haven't decided if it is encouraging or a kick in the butt. Maybe both. But it was definately what I needed to read tonight.

You've penned a wise message within the few lines of this excellent write...outstanding indeed! I once had a professor who encouraged us to downsize our poetry and stories to say what we wanted to say in fewer words while getting the point across quickly...he would love this! Well done my friend!
