have legions representing
priviledg'd people
sold off parcels
of our homeland
lot by lot?
do liars from both sides
reign with damnation
as the pen bears down &
executes the jot?
do red souls rise against
blue peaceful spirits, thus
condemn their speech to
wither, die & rot?is approval rating lowest in the palace?
are the ones who tighten nooses in the gallows deaf of thought?

If not for all colors of people and all beliefs there would be NO America.
Title: I, Too, Sing America by Langston Hughes
I am the darker brother.
They send me to eat in the kitchen
When company comes,
But I laugh,
And eat well,
And grow strong.
Tomorrow,
I'll be at the table
When company comes.
Nobody'll dare
Say to me,
"Eat in the kitchen,"
Then.
Besides,
They'll see how beautiful I am
And be ashamed--
I, too, am America.

STay Positive!
This one powerfully, painfully penned ... words fail to express the sorrow I feel in these words ... and in my soul.
The last question, " are the ones who tighten nooses in the gallows deaf of thought?" particularly telling: yes, I believe they are. Doing what satisfies their pockets/greed/interests, they forget whom they serve. Shame.
