Poets Note: God bless America...and may America be wise enough to know when we have been blessed! May we as a nation NEVER repeat the mistakes of the past when things get tough on our way back to fairness for everyone. We have to love people, as imperfect as we are but together, we can do better.
What a REAL Chief of State needs is to respect and obey the Constitution, and do his job as people's number ONE Employee; to colloect and apply the funds of the people with equity and justice to the benefit of all; to command under the Holy Letters of our Constitution, (USA) and provide mechanism for a healthy and productive country.
In God, we trust. Even though I didn't vote for President Obama (just bein' honest here), I will keep our Commander in Chief in my prayers. If nothing else, let all of America UNITE and say a prayer for him, every day. Ain't gonna be easy: it's 4th and down, make or break time, put up or shut up time: our country is in sad shape. Ain't gonna be no happy medium. If he screws up it's gonna be big time. Know what I'm saying? Still, to see the masses gathered, to see most of America watching the Inauguration, gives me hope, because they're getting involved. Ain't gonna be no pussyfootin' around. :) EXCELLENT poem, my (((friend))). Loves ya!
Amen to that.Seeing all those people at the Mall was like seeing a big bowl of the human American Spirit that consist of many different flavors of ice cream on this large spoon of unity that is delicious to the hearts,minds and souls alike.I 2nd those sentiments that you shared.take good care of yourself
