in the mornin'
after you had a manicure
just the day before and wonder
how the heck that crud creep'd under
your fingertips?

ever WaKe up
in the mornin'
before you had your breakfast
and swear that the stench in your mouth
was a hermit?

ever WaKe up
in the mornin'
after you had a peaceful dream
and life is done?

Life ain't waitin'--why should we?
