Both in our 60's, alone and lonely and after "dating" for over two years, we've "moved in" together. Now after 3 months, neither of us can imagine it any other way.

*OUR THIRD CHRISTMAS* *This will be our 3^rd Christmas* *and as I tally up my pleasure,* *this seems to be the best one* *in every way I measure.* *You have filled the void* *consuming my nights and days.* *You have made me happy* *in all the important ways.* *The house seems much more pleasant* *since you prepared it for the season* *and as the holiday approaches* *you make everything more pleasing.* *In all my years in this house* *there’d been no cookies baking.* *The oven was never used* *for anything I was making.* *It’s such a pleasing aroma* *and of course, they must be tested,* *seems, as a cookie taster,* *never have I been bested.* *Most of that is said in jest,* *the truth is much more serious.* *We pondered over the move,* *both of us feeling curious.* *Now I think we agree* *it surpasses all we ever had.* *We’re both pleased you’ve rented,* *the other side of my bed.* *So, as the day approaches* *when Santa comes to deliver,* *please know that I’m delighted* *you finally came to live here.* *Love* *you* *baby,* *looking* *forward* to *many* *more.* *COPYRIGHT 2010* *RICHARD LEE KING*
