Everyone in the sound of my words, this N word problem isn't limited to the den. For the last year or so I've been a victim of racism in several places, not only in the den. We as writers and poets should address such extreme behaviors to bring them to peoples conscious. This type attitude isn't wise even for the hater. Maybe if someone would have bought this to Michael Richards attention prior to his mistake, he wouldn't be in the situation he got himself into. Expressing anger isn't my only intention, it's a reminder to me also not to express this way. I've got a beef with the Mexican's, not a racial beef but a driving and understanding one. My wife always reminds me not to talk loud maybe hurting someones feelings. At one point, I got loud and ignorant with these Mexican's who disrespected me in a parking lot. Come to find out they just didn't understand. Then it went on from there. I think the Mexican's piss everyone off with their bumrush on America. Many of them can't speak english well which affects their driving skills and communicating abilities. I hate to be waited on by someone who can't even speak english good. They don't understand me and I don't understand them. It's simply nerve racking at times. One of our politicians here in Maryland, Donald Schafer got into trouble expressing his view on the above fact. He was trying to get something to eat and the Mexican waiting on him had a problem because of his language skills.
Michael Richards aka Seinfeld's Kramer, is also a black person defamer. My white brothers and sisters reading, this type activity may have you bleeding. It may not be blood of red, it maybe your own heart and soul dread.
This road I'm paving, may end up being life saving. Out of all the names blacks deny, use of nigger could cause one too die. Personally I'd never physically hurt, anyone who uses such dirt.
However I've seen other reactions, look what happen to Richards even after his apology retractions. It's wiser and safer to not even go there, if for your own well being your care. We all are guilty of calling names, but for each and everyone it shames.

It is hard to beleive that racism still runs wild in this world. I think women still at times are treated like second class citizens too. So perhaps I can relate to your plight. That said, Micheal was definitely wrong in his comments..Makes one wonder if all men will ever be equal. Sad comment on our society. Know that your strong Grady!! Hugs, Laura

Michael's rage was outrageous, I agree. Something tells me that he's going through the change of life, and in need of medication. This kind of outbursts only happens to people who are going through the changes. He needs medical attention.

I too can understand, and relate even in the elementary school children who are raised in ignorance pass on such names and acts of hatred and often don't even realize that they are just mimicking their parents...sometimes the more things change the more they stay the same...take care and write on my friend.
