I can not adapt
if I do not accept
I can not accept
if I do not adapt
I accept this love
whether or not
this love accepts me
Accepting frees my wings
I can fly on to higher things
Things like the conquering
of fear if you my love
do not appear
I can start dealing with
your presence
at the same time
accepting your absence
It takes a lot
to fear up my heart
It takes a sweetheart
to become a part
I know how loving
and sweet you are
this is why I do not mind
reaching for your star
