A fictional somewhat romantic poem expressing the time factor in love.
Time keeps passing on by
makes no difference
whether we laugh or cry.
Makes no difference
whether we live or die
love or figure out why.
I got love on my mind
each tick of the clock
my heart beats find,
finds the joy love brings
among all other things.
Can I enjoy this tick
before the hand goes click
by the time it gets to tock
I might just break the clock?
Time won't freeze
it's only love that will please
the clock will only tease
so I unite time and this
love breeze.
I'm in the wind blowing
I have no idea
where this love is going.
Time will tell,
if not it's just a romantic spell.
Loved it One, you captivated me with the first line...well expressed as time does so swiftly keep on ticking by, that's the one thing that we can't change no matter how much we might want to make it stand still so we can enjoy and linger in those special moments, turn back so that we may do over the things that we wish to change, or speed up to pass by those moments that we all dread in life...yes time is a subject that peeks the curiosity of the poet.
