In the garden of AD
pay your fee
readers read for free
If you are a poet
you pay twice
Some readers and
poets aren't nice
Please don't feel
free to express
you'll get a first, second
third and fourth guess
or maybe your verse
will end up in a mess
After finding what
the garden is about
you'll be safer
keeping out
That is if you're
not an adventurer
Adventurers don't
play it safe
They love it wild
so run away little child
Well here at AD some are really weird, commenting on the "pollens" not the poems...the best thing is to write what YOU like to write and not have someone else "dictate" what you write. I'm glad you have the guts to write for us here at AD - we respect each other's work and there is really no room here for arrogance and rudeness.
May I add that your poem here is EXCELLENT - keep writing!
I'm an adventurer, too, Gem; but if I dno't like someone's writing, I just don't even bother reading them or reviewing them. Safer that way. I'd much rather read someone like you anyway!

I have this great little loin cloth to wear while in the AD garden, though it is just a bit too small on the other hand maybe I am too big...NOT! ;-) ed

Love your work, your way with words...keep the faith in yourself.
I have found most reviewers to be kind, but there are always those who like to show their ass without pullin down their pants! Poets supply a comment box for those who like their work and want to tell the poet so. It is not a forum for rude people to take pot shots at the poet, cause they don't like the subject matter, what was said or how it was said. Thanks for bringing this subject matter up! SC
