It's really no one elses business why any of us write, but at times some of us do give explanations.
Sometimes this writing thing
can be kind of insane
Write a poem then you
might have to explain
Readers take verse too serious
then they get all furious
if you knock one home
where they live at in Rome
We don't owe anyone any
explanation
but sometimes I do give some
mind your own business persuasion
I write life
I write misery and strife
I write love
I write push and shove
I write hate
I write fate
I write what the heck I want to write
on my poetic site
whether anyone thinks it's
wrong or right
No need to guess
I love to express
Let it out
through the poetic route
Did a little explaining
I'll do some more
I have a little time remaining
A lot of you all need to get
with the program
No one really gives a dam
Then again they do
when others try to give
them the screw
Don't worry about those who don't like what you do. Don't even bother with 'em. I love how you write, even though I don't always comment. Hope you forgive me. :) Very well penned as per usual; I expect nothing less from you!

I've learned that you can't make everyone happy and sometimes you can't make anyone happy.
It doesn't matter what we write, it will bother someone, make someone angry or make someone unhappy. Keep on writing what you want to write. That's all you can do. I've read quite a few of your poems and free verses and enjoyed them all.
WTG OPG! i just go with the flow,cause no matter what we say some are going to think whatever they think,anyway...

I quit trying to explain, buddy, I just let the poems such as they are, explain themselves. I wind up getting perturbed when trying to 'spain myself (as Ricky Ricardo used to say).

Most everyone puts their own interpretation on other's work, which is probably unavoidable. That's just the price of sharing your thoughts.
