Thanks to all my friends and others who stuck with me through this negative versing spell.

Poem Artwork

Here lately my verse hasn't
been that nice
My friends could tell
they be on me like white on rice
I felt the mean direction
so now I'm making a dissection
which leads to this poetic connection

None of us have to be guessing
verse is about expressing
We all have a dump ground in
our heads
where we place past hurts and dreads
Wisdom dictates letting it stay sleeping
in its beds

However it's hard to hold in pain
sometimes as writers and poets
storm burst showers down the rain
right to our poetic site
and it may cause a fight
or some type fright
until we see the light
that it may not be right

It Is Why My Friend I Always Say/Write:

You Better Make Best Of What You Got Left,i.e. Means Your Own SANITY!

We All Go Through Our Own Pain Suffering Obviously What Happens In Our Childhood...

REMEMBER In My 1st Published Books:

If You Cannot Be Thankful For What You Receive
Then Be Thankful For That Which You (I) Escape...

AND: (God) Does Know I Have Escape(d) My Horrid Past....

TRASK...

You express what you feel. That should not be held against you.

Mr. OPG, now that I've met you and understand where your pain comes from, I can read you without feeling your dislike, or even hatred directed at me as a white man. I did enjoy this poem and look forward to reading more of you in the future. I think that I'd like to sign off as: Your friend, Mark.
