This was a review left on a poem I wrote called "Unenjoyment."
I don't write to be liked, and I don't mind people speaking their minds in reviews, I appreciate honesty but plain nasty stupid reviews piss me off, like the one above. It's honest and I appreciate it but it just pissed me off. I'm suppose to be pissed, who wouldn't after getting their style attacked. However it's par for the course, especially when you put your words on public display. By the way I don't force rhyme, I just do it all the time, but I do force myself to write. If you don't force yourself to write after getting busted in the azz with bad reviews or no reviews, you won't write at all. Fear will grip you. I don't fright easy. Bring on your grizzly bear, cause that's what it will take.
Anyway bad reviews never stopped me, I've been here on AD for years and will continue to be here for years to come, right, wrong, liked, not liked or whatever!

You can't please the crowd all of the time, and some non of the time...you always write for you...love the determination and spirit that you have! Love Holly
It's a great outlet. Keep writing. If somebody doesn't like it he will just have to live with it. I love writing. It's a great outlet. With my health as temperamental as it's been lately I need the outlet and I love to read your writing. God Bless,

G, try not to let it get to you...I thoroughly enjoy most all you write as I read most all of them too...I have gotten a few negative reviews myself, but those that negatively review have probably never written anything or are just plain bitchy...keep writin', ED

I think fellow poets know where you're coming from and dismiss people like that. Stay true to your honest self.
