I use to be shy, and maybe I let a few romances pass me by. This poem reflects a past and partly still aspect of my life. However I have overcame quite abit of my shyness. If not I wouldn't be able to face AD and the world of writing with all of it's ups and downs, fools and clowns. Shy people do have a problem with the spot light, anytime day or night.
There she stand
and there he sit
he's still watching
and don't want to quit
Someone has to
make the first advance
If no one does love
doesn't stand a chance
Yet out of the corner of
the eye they both glance
Neither of them realize
they're both in a trance
Come on now someones
got to start this romance
Tradition dictates the man
so she sticks to the plan
However the man is shy
he'll just sit and watch her walk by
The lady she's very confident
She knows what she's doing
She knows sooner or later
he'll be ensueing
All she has to do is profile her beauty
sooner or later he won't be able
to ignore his duty
especially when she flashes
that nice fine booty
Each day after work they
arrive at the same destination
get off the bus at the
same location
Her loving hopes always
remain very high
that one day he'll overcome
being shy
If not
she has plans to take
her best shot
knowing when she does
it will be like winning a jackpot
