Writing can be a really mixed up game,
it may lead to a certain amount of shame, or the ultimate which is fame.
I've been in both categories, especially with friends and family members, even on the den through quite a few Decembers. The way most people respond, make you feel like you're swimming a lonely pond. However you continue to be fond.

Poem Artwork

After verse your heads not cleared
Your brain wonders if you'll be smeared
Sometimes it ends up just like you feared
If not that your verse may be the
victim of a lonely page
Some readers might not understand
they may let lose some of their rage
influencing the gorilla to come out of the cage
which really isn't that sage
However you the poet set the stage
when you versed on your page

This page is made for versing and this
is just what I'll do
One of these days this page will verse
all over you
Fact fiction non-fiction or love so true
at times even sad and blue
anyway what else is a poet suppose to do

Maybe write a book
then readers really might not look
even the final results might leave the
poet shook
especially if your book don't sell
You might get to feeling like you fail
Up jumps the devil from hell
he will really screw around with your
head for a spell
and have you thinking you're riding
a lonely trail
but forget all the negativity you go on
and try too excell
eventually things may turn out well
