"An Olympian Gift" ― Tribute ― Poet Amera Andersen


Phonetics, syntax, semantics with their pragmatics
On prosody's best, ― under her domains fulfill, ―
Endearing pen power; poetics and grammatic
To show the wide world net how winds sustain her Quill.

An earthly hobby, fast speed cars this Poet fosters,
Maturing dreams on driving limitless around;
Enriching autodrome, her name gets in the roster
Registered for the grid, where winners hear the sound:
A Quill is hers... flying the aesthetical skies!

A car for a star in the Olympus was made;
Mechanic, pistons function in harmonious pace;
Engine to last forever, heaven's art set neat, 
Responding speed; passion's velocity, a treat...
A gift from Apollo to this Poet of grace!

A present voted by all celestial commanders.
Minerva did invite them for the homage gest,
Ensuring all that this Poet is duly blest;
Reminding that her car is equipped with transponders,
And through all cosmic routes her Quill is cleared to fly!

N.B.: "An Olympian Gift" is my thank You to Poet Amera for services rendered to students and Poets worldwide as an exemplary wordsmith and teacher.

This acrostic was inspired on words of the Poet's front page that I read in the past: "I have a passion for fast speed cars..."; on the Poet's academic poetic excellence, and creative opus. 

The theme is based on her passion for automobilism, and on her intellect above scale in poetics. It has an interlaced symbolism on car and quill, creating an idea of a spaceship of verse and form.

Poet Amera Andersen has written in over fifty poetic forms, and is the world greatest female formalist of the Major poetic Art.

OBS.: She likes to be "A female Tigre."
