What a fright with ghosts and goblins everywhere as kids are ready for this night of treats.

They cannot wait but remember don’t eat to much candy or you’ll get a tummy ache.

Going to the many houses as some say beware and cobwebs dangle everywhere you climb the stairs in fear of what may lie behind that door either a treat or scare.

You take a dare even though the sign reads beware.

Now knocking on the door as it slowly opens and creeks you can hardly speak as a hand reaches out of the darkness putting a treat in you bag.

You are glad that no monsters were to be found.

When suddenly the porch light goes off and the door opens all the way.

You shake and shiver hurrying off to another house that just so happens to say beware.

So do you dare go up those stairs of the creepy mansion.

What a chilling night Halloween can be as even my own granddaughter made me run and hide as the witch come alive.
