Sometimes my mind wanders to odd places....
One day I was thinking about bullies, and how they can appear bigger than life when they are on the offensive.  And just what if........they could be shrunken down to size...and made to feel vulnerable and small.  Sized by their mind, and crimes. Sized by design.  And learn what its like when the shoe is on the other foot.
 
 
Carpet-tall Pun-ishment
 
 
A perilous life is found indeed
For those who live, a life unseen
Above the wood, beneath the sole
Annihilated on the stroll
 
In fibered forests penalized
The meanest live now brutalized
In short their deeds now mark their size
Their tirades lost along with cries!
 
And how this sentence came to be
On those abusers of the wee
Tormenting bullies and their hordes
Squished beneath the shoe and board?
 
If I could only swear for sure
The fate of shrunken tormentors
I do believe them judged and done
For hurting others.....as THEIR fun
 
A size adjusted to their minds
Of particles to small to find
'Neath carpet fibers....or on wood
A different view now understood
 
Where gentle minds were branded weak
Where silence met with mocked critique
Where faith and virtue held no worth
Dismissed as tho.....the scum of earth
 
Appointed judge and juries see
The executioner's decree
The final fate on those that press
The gentle towards a new address
 
And in the end, it's they that give
Themselves a prision, which to live
In peril shadow.....of the shoe
Such evil learns.......a different view
