White Stone On Promised Land

White stone, polished smooth
By the sand of constant move
Tumbled free on salty waves
Marbled silk of ocean phrase

As the sea would speak and swell
To the stone and fortune tell
Ride my tide to altered sands
Journey ends on promised land

Ever see those lovely white stones on the beach and wonder where they  started out from?

I've collected a few of those marvelous stones along my travels, and this is a marvelous piece.

This is soul refining and refreshing, Anita. Beautiful thoughts espoused and scribed here. You have a natural wave-like ebb and flow to your writing voice and poetry... a true daughter of the wind and waves. Journey on!! :)) And these stones will ever quench your thirst... place one beneath the tongue and your mouth will never dry... learnt that from Balzac - La Gloire de mon Pere - as Susan de V can testify below... Love this, TY Kate xx

I have a few rocks I carry with me just like my dad and his dad...etc. I fidget with them and sometimes they are cooling and other times they are hot as fire, depending on my moods. One is a quartz crystal...one is a piece oif granite with emeralds that continue to get greener with time, one is an amythest and one is an opal in it's matrix. They're kind of like happy campers all together in a silk pouch. Little things like this are happy times that one can cherish with living stones with their own kind of energy. Like the stones in your pen...they embody strength.

Did you know that Benedictine monks carry whites stones on them...
Why? I hear you ask...

Well they believe all christians have a white name, a pure heavenly name... So if you find a such a stone, keep it for always..

A very symbolical and metaphysical pen that makes you think and muse..
I love collecting precious stones on the beach at low tide...
