Poem Artwork

Seeing through the pedestrian or obvious, is a unique ability.  And so much can be missed out on, when just seeing the surface of situations.  But looking, feeling and believing in the beyond, opens up new dimensions.  Whoda Thunk, huh?......Pax A

Built From Pines Of Pageantry

On the sea of rippled wishes
Rocking gently for the eye
With the sailing scent of petals
'Neath a gently painted sky

Came a vessel like no other
Made of dreams,  and destinies
Brimmed a cargo filled with promise
Built from pines, of pageantry

Voyage on the salty waters
Voyage on the fresh and brine
Dropping anchor in the harbors
Where a fertile heart reclines

There to leave a wealth of treasures
In the hands of those who care
All who meet the ship in harbor
Wear the aura of the rare

Minds that see a petaled freshness
Not the masts of fabric sewn
Are the reasons for the voyage
And the breezes softly blown

Each stanza could stand alone here...I seriously could take a cruise on the boat made from Pines of Pageantry...'came a vessel like no other, Made of dreams and destinies Brimmed a cargo filled with promise'...you have an amazing way of connecting heart and soul. Truly magical work! Panda :)

Totally delicious and yes, can see it, scents it, feel it in ways that only you can bring to mind. This is totally hip-with-it poetry... but, mind you, so is your BS jobby on your biog page... You are just sooooooooooo bloody versatile, Anita... poetry just sweats... sorry, glows... outa your pores.... I am away with the Sugar Plum Fairies with this one... LOL K xx

I stand hopefully at my little unassuming harbour waiting for this fragrant boat to dock and offload some of its cargo of promise sufficient for me. Enchanting beauty shimmering magically!

This is a work of art. It can be applied to so many areas in each of our lives. Look for the beauty, look for the love, look for the gold at the end of the rainbow and you will surely find it.
By the way, that is a beautiful picture.
God Bless,
Lew

There is so much more to be experienced in life if we just open our senses to the possibilities and allow our dreams and imaginings to manifest. Why see purple when we can see indigo-pink? This is amazing work, I really love this poem, as I do all of your writings.
Take care,
Sherry

Anita

You are a visionary with telepathic understanding and empathy..

We are only just scratching the surface with our five senses...it is when we use our sixth sense, that we see into the magical and enchanting Fourth Dimension..

Fabolous work from your gifted pen..

Peter
