Sand Beneath My Sea

A poem about everlasting love

Sunday, August 28, 2005

Poem Artwork

You are the stunning portrait
Capturing my every word
You are all things important
Leaving nothing left unheard
And through this sacred life span
There forevermore shall be
A place where feelings began
For the sand beneath my sea.

You are the brave endeavor
Leading to merit and worth
You are the sun that ever
Shines its glory ‘pon the earth
And through each passing second
‘Neath the sprawling willow tree
I’ll praise the love that beckons
For the sand beneath my sea.

You are the lighthouse beacon
Guiding me to higher ground
You are the force that weakens
All the turbulence abound
And through each fleeting moment
You will live eternally
As the other set of footprints
On the sand beneath my sea.
