Nothing in this life is sweeter
Than the moments we have shared
Just as sure, nothing is neater
Than letting others know we cared
I appreciate your insight
And thank you kindly for your style
It is such an utter delight
To be in your presence, awhile.

We have brought hope to the saddened
We have praised our loved ones, too
And, together, we have gladdened
Those who admire what we do
It is such a joy-filled tribute
To play a small part in your show
And, no one could ever refute
The happiness I’ve come to know.

Nothing in this life is sweeter
Than the past year I have known
This dream is so much neater
Thanks, in part, to all you’ve shown
I’m proud to be the SUNNY poet
Prouder, still, to be your friend
