The clouds so swiftly parted
As the sunlight streaking low
Came upon the brokenhearted
Left to feel the void below
In the sad wake of your passing
From this world to ever be
Harbored where God’s Love surpassing
Shall reign for eternity.

While you stroll the golden hallways
That look o’er the placid seas
You will be here with us, always
In a flood of memories
Your spirit shall serve to hover
As a light that will remain
Within our hearts to cover
The burdened grief, the loss, the pain.

The clouds so swiftly parted
Leaving just the skies of blue
To embrace the brokenhearted
Now that your time is through
But, we’ll find great consolation
In the fact that you will be
With the Lord and His Creation
At peace, for eternity.
