My friend, you have warmed a dear place in my heart
Your kindness is, indeed, a true work of art
By thinking of me, you’ve shown your selflessness
But, coming from you, I’d expect nothing less
You have always been someone special and neat
Your friendship has served to make my life complete
I thank you for thinking of me in this way
While hoping you have an incredible day.

The moments we share are not nearly enough
Yet, you are right there when this life becomes tough
Regardless of the different paths we pursue
I know that I can always depend on you
You offer your love and support from afar
A testament to the kind person you are
Our friendship has left my heart so richly blessed
I thank you, my friend; certainly, you’re the best.

There are so few words that could ever convey
The joy that I feel in my heart, on this day
My friend, you’re a blessing; an angel, I swear
Because you’ve decided to show how you care
I pray that your kindness is returned to you
In honor of the first-class deeds that you do
Best wishes, my friend; may you always be glad
Thank you for one of the best times I’ve had.
