Poem Artwork

A star fell toward the earth, one day
I held it in my hand
The moment was, if I must say
A joy I had not planned
To some, I may have been a fool
Since stars are very hot
But, this star was, indeed, a jewel
And I was injured not.

The star twinkled there in my palm
As if to say hello
Its beauty was a healing balm
I felt so blessed to know
As hours passed, my star and I
Found friendship, unsurpassed
This gift had fallen from the sky
To grant the dreams I’d cast.

A star fell toward the earth, one day
I held it in my hand
The moment was, if I must say
A joy that God had planned
Once I was picked to be your Mom
My life found a new start
For the star I’d kept in my palm
Suddenly stole my heart.

Oh, Jill, you always know the best ways to tug the heart strings.
This is beautiful.
This one is going to get saved for the new grandchild.
Thanks so much.

You should frame it in a frame of stars, and give it as a gift to your child, you are truly grateful before God, it will read that message with love and appreciation, I did. A wonderful poem!
