Freedom is a trait we earn
A blessing we embrace
A gift we’re given in return
For the hardships we face
A testament of sacrifice
By heroes who have died
The ones who paid a costly price
For our great nation’s pride.
Our freedom is our heritage
Our legacies and worth
Our stories etched for all of time
Shared with our Mother Earth
The fabric of our faith and strength
The light guiding our way
For freedom, we’ll cross any length
To keep doubters at bay.
Freedom is the red, white, and blue
The stars and stripes that wave
Across this land, proudly and true
The vast home of the brave
From sea to shining sea, we hail
Our sovereignty and rights
Every July 4th, without fail
Liberty is in our sights!
