Poem Artwork

i.

All the sands of Arabia shall wash
the murder from your sleep, where
you shall sleep Macbeth, Nevermore.

ii.

Macbeth:
I acted only in your self interest,
to love is madness, in life,
who can look upon you with love
when death is no release?

We met at the Cauldron,
three hags shrieked across the skyline,
the poisoned milk from your breast
stained your white moon gown red.

Spoiler, what of my ambition,
my heroes, who you deceived?
No tears nor laughter more,
But a man sealed in a mask,
After first he’s kissed by you.

Nothing, nothing,
tempted by your vengeance,
I search the sky, a blade of grass.

iii.

Lightening Macbeth,
you took the flame from the tree,
you fell to your knees at the hearth
and begged your Gods that the stars
fade and the sky be black,
there was a dagger before you.

I will open my sex to you,
to give you teat,
where all your yesterdays
are as lighted fools that will be heard
Nevermore, where you shall sleep Nevermore.

And there I shall restore you Macbeth,
there you shall see my naked beauty,
there hear my laughter, see my tears,
there you will be my Raven, Macbeth,
Nevermore.
