When you blow

Into a flute,

There come out

Its pleasant notes;

When you blow

Into an empty barrel,

There is nothing

But a dull sound.

 

Our feelings are

The subject

Of cherishing and

Treasuring a lot,

But if we speak of them

To all and sundry,

There will be but

The wheezing noise.

How true. There is also a tradition that says be careful what you say, it may come true. That's fine if a person says positive things, but beware what we say that is negative. John
