Sometimes, I’m inclined to think
That he who sits on a chair that is a real chair,
And sleeps on a bed that is a real bed,
And not a daytime couch, is a happier soul.
I’m always inclined to insist on the fact
That if you want someone to be truly fed
Give him a rod and teach him to fish.
That is the only way to make one go live.
I'll fish on that! I believe the way to last long is to be reincarnated as a tortoise. That way you will probably last 900 years unless you are caught and eaten for your many kinds of meat.
Sound advice, but I never could countenance fishing. I'll leave that to my brother who likes nothing better than an afternoon on a local pond searching for fisheyes.
