I stand in the middle of a barren road Wondering which path I'll choose to go Whispering winds intoxicate my mind My brain freezes, I've lost all control Darkness covers every inch of land Sinful notions grab my hand Scared, I stare at a horrible beast He tries to steal my lifelong faith I kneel into the pit of hell Prayer is all I have right now Eyes shut tight visions appear No easy paths but I won't give into fear Angels transcend from heaven above I'm lifted above the beast's abode God has dressed me in his light I humbly continue to live my life.
