May the colorful leaves of October In falling flight Float her pretty dreams With slowness of enjoyment Into reality The moment they land softly Upon my handsome green grasses
May the Northern Mockingbirds of November Lead her to its birdie-hideout And feed her its stash Of my poetic berries Whenever she thirsts To lap up the sweetness Oozing out of my sugar-dipped words
